Note: "The verascope is a photographic instrument specially designed for taking and viewing images in relief, also known as stereoscopic images.
Operating on the principle of stereoscopy, this device uses two lenses separated by a distance similar to that between human eyes, enabling two slightly different images of the same subject to be captured.
These images are then combined using a stereoscopic viewfinder or similar device to create an impression of depth and three-dimensionality for the observer. The verascope was particularly popular in the early 20th century for entertainment and education."
