Pair of large armchairs in molded and carved wood, decorated with scrolls and foliage. The openwork backrest is centered with a moucharabieh, echoed on the upside-down armrests and on the base. It is surmounted by a calligraphy inscribed in a central reserve surmounted by a radiating pediment embellished with a star in mother-of-pearl inlay, echoed throughout the seat. The seat, decorated with geometric forms, rests on an openwork base whose sides simulate mihrâbs. Syrian work. (small accidents, missing parts, wear, parts to be restored).
