Sandby, 1749 - 2 vols. in-8 - bound in full calf, spines decorated, gilt and coat-of-arms fillets (arms of the Duc d'Hautefort - D'or à trois forces de sable les pointes en haut), edges gilt - Volume I: frontispiece after Müller, title with engraved vignette, (1) engraved f. dedication, VI pp., (2) ff., 166 pp. + 26 engraved plates out of text - Volume II: 1 title with engraved vignette. from 167 to 353 pp. + 9 engraved plates out of text - ex libris labels (bindings: worn, covers and corners dull, small tears and holes, scratches on boards - inside: some foxing, overall good condition) Note: Edition decorated with an engraved vignette by Müller repeated on the titles, a dedication leaf engraved by Ravenet after Wilson showing the portrait, in medallion, of the future King George III in a beautiful frame and 35 plates out of text.
