Glass bottle with molded decoration in the shape of three superimposed books. The main side features a profile portrait of French writer Victor Hugo (1802-1885), with his signature at the base of the neck. On the sides and bottom book, the titles of three of his works, "ODES ET BALLADES" (1826), "QUATRE VINGT TREIZE" and "HERNANI" (1830). On the back, a quotation from Ruy-Blas, a character in Victor Hugo's play of the same name. Below, a feather surrounded by a laurel wreath. The stopper features a book. (a few chips).
