Nice Chapuis Progress model 12/70 caliber shotgun, 700 mm side-by-side barrels, ½ and full choke, straight rocker engraved with bouquets and foliage, 365 mm English-style stock with wide shock absorber, wide Galand trough front, some traces of use otherwise BE-TBE, in its original carrying case signed Chapuis made in France, wear and repairs to the case, delivered with a second pair of 560 mm barrels, n°6159, for bullet shooting, enclosed are the St Etienne proof house certificates for both pairs of barrels, LT 1140 mm, n° 2828, AV048-C26-2828, category C 1° c). This rifle belonged to Monsieur Michel Oliver, famous chef of the French Oliver dynasty. Michel Oliver had a prestigious career, from the Grand Véfour in Paris to television, where he hosted "La vérité est au fond de la marmite" on Antenne 2 from 1978 to 1983. Author of several best-sellers on the culinary world, Monsieur Oliver hunted with this superb rifle, which accompanied him for two decades.
