Emile BOLLAERT (1890–1978), a senior French civil servant and politician, who served as a prefect from 1919 to 1940 and later joined the Resistance during World War II. A note on a business card-sized sheet signed by Bollaert, dated December 13, 1921, on the letterhead of the Office of the Secretary General. In it, he mentions the uniforms that had been delivered to him in perfect condition, though they required only minor alterations and the sword belt needed to be replaced.
