Two-part "Jasmin" vase in white and gold porcelain, the horn decorated with compartments on the front and on the reverse with a landscape on a blue background set in a rectangular reserve and scalloped garlands and attributes flanked by flowering pots, underlined by a frieze of stylized foliage, the base hemmed with gold bands. 19th century (accidents and major restorations) Height 24.5 cm - Diam. 24 cm Note: This plant vase was created by Marc Schoelcher (1766-1832), a famous Parisian earthenware and porcelain maker of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, and later adopted by other manuacftures.
