Poudrier in gold 375 thousandths (9 carats) with decoration of grooves, the lid decorated with a figure in a circle paved with diamonds cut 8/8 mounted on platinum. Signed Birks Art Deco period Gross weight: 122.1 g - 7 x 7 cm Note: Henry Birks (1840-1928) was a Canadian businessman, silversmith and jeweler. His first shop, established in 1879 in Montreal, grew into a prestigious luxury boutique that left its mark on Canadian heritage. He was the official purveyor to kings and queens. He designed jewellery for Princess Grace of Monaco and Princess Margaret.
