Caron à Paris Arqr de l'Empereur Firmin Seur" (F.P. = Fini Par,) back plates and hammer engraved with pampres, frame engraved en suite, Lefaucheux key opening, double trigger under engraved volute trigger guard, wear and oxidation, traces of use on the wood, LT 1160 mm, n° 3696, France Second Empire period, category D § e). 
In its carrying case, sheathed in green velvet (fabric and case worn and missing), with a pellet bulb and half a ramrod.
