                        Regule clock with brown patina and gilding, the round white-enameled dial shows the hours in Roman numerals, hemmed with a frieze of pearls, flanked by subjects representing a sculptor and a painter and surmounted by an oval cartouche in a surround of scrolls and foliage, shells and plant garlands, on a sculpted console.
The base is adorned with a bouquet of flowers, palmettes and scalloped flower garlands, and stands on six legs, two of which are fronted by Ionic columns. 
Late 19th century

The clock is housed in a half-moon-shaped glass globe and rests on a blackened oval stepped wooden base.
