An ormolu lamp stand, the egg-shaped shaft in kiln-blue porcelain decorated with gilded flowers and insects is set in a frame decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves, scalloped flowers and finished with sabots. It is surmounted by a spigot emphasized by a frieze of pearls and lambrequins. It rests on a three-lobed stepped base hemmed with a frieze of parted hearts.
19th century.
(wear to gilding, slight wear to decoration).
