[SATIRIQUE] NADAR (Félix Tournachon) - La Passion illustrée sinon illustre de N-S Gambetta Selon l'Evangile de St (Charles) Laurent suivie d'une note par l'auteur des dicts et faicts de chier Cyre Gambette le Hutin en sa Court - A Paris, Motteroz, 1882 - 1 vol. in-12° - paperback - 46 pp - illustrations in-texte - copy N°142 out of 475 certified/signed by the author (printed tracing paper cover - some soiling otherwise good condition) Note: "This pamphlet, largely illustrated with drawings engraved in the text, first appeared in Jean Rochefort's conservative newspaper La Lanterne. It was in 1838 that Félix Tournachon (1820-1910) took the name Nadar. Initially a caricaturist, he soon opted for photography, before embarking on the adventure of aerostation. It was aboard one of these, the Armand Barbès, that Léon Gambetta, then Minister of the Interior, left Paris on October 07, 1870 for Tours.
