Gilt bronze wall-mounted cartel, the round white enameled di - Lot 127
Gilt bronze wall-mounted cartel, the round white enameled dial marked Ha am Dutertre à Paris, indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals separated by a railway, the hands openworked with scrolls and volutes. It is flanked by two Ionic pilasters surmounted by seeded fruit as a reminder of the amortization and supporting a festooned garland of laurel leaves, the whole surmounted by a draped urn underlined by a frieze of posts and canals. The sides are embellished with openwork foliage and the pendulum features a radiating mascaron. Late 18th-early 19th century (slight wear to the gilding) Height : 79 cm - Width : 39.5 cm - Depth : 10.5 cm
