Pair of Belgian lock-action rifles signed Antoine Cordy & fils in Liège, caliber 20-70, numbered 1 and 2 in gilt letters on the thunder, key and lenth, Holland-type lock with cocking indicator, engraved with scrolls and bouquets, key engraved en suite, 700 mm mirrored side-by-side barrels with full guilloche band, engraved on the chambers "A. Cordy & fils - Liège fait pour Armurerie Vouzelaud - Brou (E & L)", ¼ and ½, ejectors, automatic safety on opening, self-opening, single trigger, 360 mm English grip plus shock absorber, bronzing of barrels revealing minimal traces of use otherwise TBE, LT 1130 mm, n° 28112-1 and 28112-2, RGA n° AV517, category C 1° c). High-luxury rifles, made in 1977 by Antoine Cordy in Liège and engraved by Philippe Grifnée, an acknowledged independent engraver from Liège, a true artist who has engraved for Holland & Holland and Purdey.
