Portico clock in burr wood veneer, the round enamelled dial - Lot 226
Portico clock in burr wood veneer, the round enamelled dial shows the hours in Roman numerals, hemmed with a frieze of ormolu foliage. It is set between four columns with capitals decorated with gadroons and water leaves, topped by an apron supporting a cornice with a décor in recall, and rests on a rectangular base finished with four round feet. (cracks to the veneer, accident to the cornice, parts to be refixed, wear to the gilding, cracks to the dial). Height : 52.5 cm - Width : 28 cm - Depth : 18.5 cm
