MOCKEL Francis (b. 1940) Bestiaire marin - Paris, René Tazé, October 25, 1983 - 1 vol. in-folio in illustrated green cloth slipcase - including 15 etchings, 12 of species: Sea bass, Pollack, Sea bream, St. Pierre, Gurnard, Small dogfish, Spider crab, Conger, Sole, Orphia, Mackerel - on Moulin du Gué paper - One of 80 copies, numbered 35/70. Sheet size: 37.8 x 51 cm Subject size: 31.8 x 44.8 cm Note : Francis MOCKEL. Painter and engraver, born in 1940, he first mastered aquatint, a form he has been working in since 1967. In 1976, he settled in Le Pouliguen (Loire Atlantique). There, he practiced all engraving techniques and produced several engraved books in limited editions.
