Titled and signed on the base
(a crack on the reverse of the base)

Note : In July 1935, Richard Halliburton, an American journalist, decided to cross the Saint Bernard pass in the Alps on the back of an elephant, just as Hannibal had done over 2,000 years before. The elephant in question, or rather the elephantess, was called Dolly and belonged to the Jardin d'Acclimatation in the Bois de Boulogne.
