Chinese carpet (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), probably knotted in the Peking or Ningxia region, China, circa 1930-1970 245x157 cm The rug features a central rosette with a floral motif on a havana background, enhanced by small polychrome floral medallions. The whole composition is embellished with four navy-blue spandrels. A navy blue border with small flowers framed by havana cartouches with floral motifs surrounds the composition. (Stains, slight wear, some missing velvet and fraying).
