Note: Janine de Lorière, a fashion designer by trade, learned the technique of vitrified enamel on high-fire-fired steel at the Romacrea Art School in Rome, led by Professor Oliviero Leonardi, who was also her partner for 50 years.
In the 1970s and 1980s, she exhibited her works alongside the maestro, first in Italy at the “San Vitale” Art Gallery in Bologna, in Germany at the Bernard Weber Gallery in Mannheim, at the Baden-Baden Gallery in Baden - Baden, and at the Biarritz Gallery in France. She received reviews from Gustav René Hocke, Luigi Meneghelli, Irène Schreeder, and Elio Mercuri.
