16th-century Flemish print—This work is an exceptional allegorical and astrological print from the late Flemish Renaissance (dated 1585), titled *Mars and the Children of Mars*.It is the plate dedicated to the planet Mars from the famous series *The Seven Planets*, a masterpiece in the history of European printmaking. Martin de Vos, the famous Antwerp painter who conceived and drew the entire composition, and Jan Sadeler I, the master goldsmith and engraver who executed the copper plate.
