An authentic original etching by the French Impressionist painter, engraver, and illustrator Norbert Goeneutte (1854–1894), titled *La Vitrine de la modiste* (or sometimes *Devant le magasin de chapeaux*), created around 1880.Norbert Goeneutte was a prominent figure in late 19th-century Parisian bohemian circles. A close friend of Renoir (for whom he posed in the famous painting *Le Bal du Moulin de la Galette*), Manet, and Degas, he specialized in capturing the daily life, fashion, and elegance of Parisian women during the Belle Époque. The work bears witness to the emergence of the grand boulevards and modern window shopping.
