Sculpture depicting a dignitary standing with his arms crossed. He is dressed in a loincloth tied on his right side. Rich ornaments consist of a pectoral, large circular earrings and a headdress with a central medallion. Its lips are fleshy and its aquiline nose is prolonged by an ornament that goes up to the top of the forehead. This character, of beautiful workmanship and full of nobility, is characteristic of the objects found on the Island of Jaina. Mayan culture, Jaina Island, Mexico 450 - 750 A.D.
