Attached is a copy of the press articles where the war record of this fighter is mentioned 1) The Platterhof was a farm then a family pension created in 1878 and which became property of the party in 1930. The chancellor stayed at the Platterhof before he rented and then acquired the Berghof. He ordered the boarding house to be converted into a People's Hotel so that German citizens could come and see him. Part of the old boarding house was demolished in 1939 to build a luxury hotel for visitors, a project initiated under the direction of Martin BORMANN. He often visited the building site with a minimal escort. The sumptuous work carried out during the war turned it into a luxury residence for party dignitaries. From 1943, the Platterhof became a hospital. It was partially destroyed by an Allied bombing raid on 25 April 1945. After the war it was rehabilitated as a hotel for American military families and finally destroyed in 2002. 2) " Gebrüder Hepp 90 ", German goldsmith founded in 1863 by CARL HEPP. After an important boom in the manufacture of solid silver articles for the hotel industry, the company was hit hard by the recession of the 1920s. The KARL family took over the destiny of the company in 1931 and gave it a major boost until the factory was destroyed in an air raid in 1943. Official supplier for the Obersalzberg Platterhof.
