ARGY-ROUSSEAU Gabriel (1885-1953) Tragi-comique" lamp in purplish-white pâte de verre with macaroons and pink heads on a mauve background. Original wrought-iron base and neck with three-pointed ring. Created in 1922 Signed on the lower edge of the cap and on the shaft near the base. Total height: 40 cm - Hat height: 12 cm - Hat diameter: 20 cm (a turning fele on the shaft and small chips on the heel of the shaft) Bibliography for the same model: J. Bloch-Dermant, G. Note: The artist's marriage in 1913 to Marianne Argyriadès was to have a major influence on his work.
