Hamadan rug (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), Northwest Persia, circa 1950-1980 58.5 x 38.5 cm The rug is decorated with a double polychrome medallion, extended by four pendants, on an ivory background with geometric motifs and an old-pink background. A narrow border with a succession of small multicolored flowers encircles the composition.
