A white and gold porcelain vase of baluster form, standing on a square base surmounted by a pedestal. The ovoid body features on the front a lively scene in a rectangular reserve depicting a couple discussing with a lady spinning, while the back is decorated with a lyre in a frame of laurel branches, scrolls and foliage. It is adorned on either side with two scrolled grips highlighted with palms and acanthus leaves.
