Comb, probably given as a wedding gift. It features a figure seated on a throne in the center of a rectangular frame, surmounted by a haggling feline to the right, in a naturalistic pose. Boxwood, patinated by use and age Egypt, Coptic, Byzantine period, 400 to 700 A.D.
