Japan, 19th century Lot comprising five kogatana and two kogai, the kogatana with iron kozuka for two of them, in shakudo-nanako for the three others, the decor in relief and gilded highlights, of a dragon, an arm wrestling between a giant and a young man (Benkei and Yoshitsune?), bird and cherry blossom, figures on a terrace, three of the blades signed; the kogai decorated with plovers above the waves and a bird next to a willow.
