A pair of gilded brass baluster-shaped lamps, standing on a round base decorated with scrolls, snapdragons and lions' claws, the body embellished with blind cartouches and triglyphs in a scroll and stylized flower surround, the neck hemmed with a scroll frieze and topped with an openwork mouthpiece embellished with pearl and acanthus leaf scrolls. The round sandblasted and engraved glass globes are decorated with female profiles in medallions, knotted ribbons and flowers framed by friezes of water leaves and pearls. The tube is hemmed with a gilded band. (chips, missing gilding, cracks, bumps, chips to globes and tubes). Total height: 70 cm
