CORNU Eugène (1827-1899) attributed to Alarm clock in bronze with three patinas, gilded, copper and silvered, the round dial, white enamelled and featuring Roman numerals for the hours, is set in a medallion hemmed with a frieze of alternating Greek and lotus leaves and is surmounted by a prunus branch, It rests on a phoenix, head bowed, holding a prunus branch in its beak, and resting on an onyx plate ending in a square base in the imitation of bamboo, embellished with four small projecting feet. (dial cracks, hands attached, some patina wear). Height : 31.5 cm - Width : 17 cm - Depth : 16 cm
