An ormolu and green veined marble egg-shaped cassolette forming a lamp stand, resting on a round base hemmed with a pearl frieze supporting an Athenian-style tripod surmounted by rams' heads and finished with hind feet. They are surmounted by a removable lid featuring the socket or a lid surmounted by a grain fruit.
